French Farmhouse style side and dining chairs!
The french farmhouse style of decorating is literally the best of both worlds! Pairing rustic and wood, maybe some shiplap with the ornate, lovely curves, texture and beautiful linens of french style is so much fun. I have recently embraced the french farmhouse style in my recent master bedroom makeover and I am still completely in love with it. I have always loved the farmhouse style, but I am definitely enjoying adding a bit of french style to it!
You can also see my changing style by my recent purchase of an ornate china cabinet with beautifully turned legs and curved fretwork over the glass door. I had been waiting to find something perfect and fun to add my growing collection of Ironstone china to. But I think it is also Vicki’s influence that is turning my style into that French Farmhouse way. She really loves ornate details, and curves and the french style of furniture.

The one addition I want for my house I don’t have yet is a beautiful pair of chairs. I just don’t have the room for them right now in my current home! One day I will have a sitting room or maybe a big enough master bedroom where I can set up a pair of chairs in there.
But for now I can only dream…and online shop for the perfect pair of chairs! So without further ado I came up with a wonderful guide of side and dining chairs that work for the French Farmhouse style. These are all the ones I was “Ooohh-ing” and “Ahhh-ing” about while wishing I had room for them! Enjoy! (Click the link below each chair for the corresponding source)

Each and every one of these chairs would work perfectly for either farmhouse style or French style but mixing the two styles are so much fun! Bring the side chairs into your living or bedroom space or in a nice reading nook. Add 4 plainer wood chairs for around the body of the table and then two of the fancier french styles as the captains chairs. Mix and match them all! Have fun with it.
