Happy Holidays! Today we are sharing Vicki’s dining room all dressed up for the holidays! We have been so busy getting ready for Christmas this year, with all the decorating and shopping (that isn’t finished yet) we also had a bunch of custom orders, not to mention we tackled painting that pretty buffet you will see in the dining room! Whew..busy, busy time of year. But we are loving it!

We started by getting all of our linens together. We wanted to bring a bunch of neutral items together to tie in the buffet and all the rest of the decor in Vicki’s house. The table runner is actually a tablecloth, folded into thirds and pressed.

We played around with a bunch of different centerpiece ideas but decided simple was key. That pretty silver bottlebrush tree, white and silver candle, and some greenery was added to a glass cake plate. Not to mention that pretty silver deer! Then some pops of red were added to the sides to bring together the red from the plates.
Vicki has had the bottom poinsettia plates for a while and we always use them for our Christmas gatherings! But the all red poinsettia plates are new and really brought it all together! We just love the color and festivity it all brings to the table!
We then topped the table off with some pretty crystal glasses, and those antique champagne glasses that are family heirlooms.
Like we mentioned before the buffet in the background is new! (See more about it here) We added just a couple tall items to the sides, but kept the majority of the buffet cleared since it will be bombarded by either appetizers or desserts when the whole family comes over!

And that pretty chalkboard on the wall ties in the French style from the other rooms in Vicki’s house perfectly! (See the Home Tour here)

A very simple dining room setting was created, but it sure does make an impact!
We hope you have a very happy holiday season filled with fun, memories and lots of family and friends time!
