Fall Decor Shopping Guide: When your not a DIY’er

Last week we shared an easy DIY project for fall by making a faux pumpkin garland. This week, however, we wanted to share some fun fall decorations for those who aren’t really a DIY’er or just don’t have the time to make decorations.

Even though we are big into crafts and have made fall decor in the past, we still like to get a few new items to supplement our seasonal decor! I have a few fake pumpkins I have bought, as well as a pretty little brown owl which I love! This year I was looking for a fall pillow online when I came across so many fun things I just had to share!

Faux Pumpkins:

All of these pumpkins have great texture and would be perfect to supplement your gourds or real pumpkins. I made some sweater pumpkins just the other day (post to come) and absolutely love them!

I also love the wicker pumpkins (I have one of those as well) they bring some different

Cozy Accents:

Who doesn’t love to curl up in a cozy blanket when the weather starts to get chilly? I have always wanted a nice cable knit blanket, but the plaid is perfect for the fall season!

I’m not a huge fan of the typical “fall rug” with pumpkins or leaves on them, but I found this beautiful orange rug that would be perfect to add a little hint of color to your space.

Dining:

For decorating a tablescape, I thought these were fun little accents. Not all would be needed, but choose one of these items to accent plain dishware along with your decor in the middle. That way you wouldn’t need to get a whole new set of dishes or glasses but could use your everyday ones!

Wreaths and Signs:

This pallet wreath by The Dotted Bow on Etsy is simple gorgeous. I love the texture of the wood, and the subtle fall nuance with the burlap and wheat.

Then some wood signs to top it all off. These are all so pretty and unique items, perfect for the cool weather season. I am so ready for fall, done with the humidity and just want to wear sweaters and boots, drink apple cider and watch the trees on the beautiful bluffs change colors. I think it’s safe to say I have fall fever! Good thing it’s September now so I don’t have to feel so bad that I am already decorated. (I started in August 🙂

Good luck with all your fall decorating, whether it’s DIY projects or some of these cute touches.

  1. Love all of your picks – I think my favorites are the pumpkin buffet card holders and the first wreath. I really need to start working on updating my DIY wreath on my front door. #ThursdayFavoriteThings
