The holidays are right around the corner! Can you believe it. I feel like fall just got here and now we are talking about the holidays, new year, snow, and freezing cold…well freezing here in Minnesota anyway! I am not ready for that yet… But while I don’t enjoy the cold, I do enjoy the holiday season and already started thinking about gifts awhile ago!
I like to start my gift shopping early, October if possible is usually when I begin thinking about ideas and setting my budget. So while I was surfing around thinking about what I was going to get for my family, I thought I would help you all out by rounding up some great ideas for anyone who loves the farmhouse style of decor.
Like a lot of others out there, I am obsessed with everything Joanna Gaines from ‘Fixer Upper’ does and have now turned into a farmhouse fanatic! I have found my home decor style has gone very farmhouse-y this past year. I like to incorporate a lot of antique items, jars, seagrass, boxwood, galvanized, and wood!

Farmhouse Floral Items: Ok…Can you tell I love Boxwood! I have a wreath and two of the cone topiary, and Vicki loves that small round one. All of the boxwoods below are preserved so no fake looking florals here! And cotton stems are an absolute must!

Decorative Items:
I am a huge fan of distressed white candlesticks, as well as those beautiful jars. I also have a sugar mold too! Next spring I am going to put succulents in mine, after the fall and holiday decor is put away. And trays are a staple when coming up with your own vignettes.
